The CPR Manikins provided through a grant from the Litchfield Public School Foundation have made it possible for us to continue training students and staff with professional manikins that give instant, visual technique feedback to both the student and the instructor.
The American Heart Association (AHA) states that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival. The AHA also states that 70% of Americans feel helpless and don’t know what to do during a cardiac arrest.
Teaching CPR to students and staff gives them the tools they need to help save a life.
Thank you for being a part of this endeavor!
